Richard L. Briscoe, DDS

On the personal side, Dr. Briscoe and Jayne, his wife of 25 years, have three sons: Patrick, Michael and Blake, and one daughter-in-law, Holly. Patrick and Holly live in Kansas City where Patrick is following in his father’s footsteps by attending dental school. He plans to specialize in orthodontics. Holly graduated in accounting and is working in that field. Michael and Blake attend the University of Kansas.

On the professional side, Dr. Briscoe has dedicated his life to dentistry and to creating smiles that restore people's lives, confidence and self-esteem. He graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City Dental School in 1978, and has been in Hutchinson ever since. He stays up-to-date in his profession by attending dental meetings, talking with other dentists, and taking continuing education courses. He maintains membership in the American Dental Association, the Kansas Dental Association, and the Central District Dental Society. Of many charitable contributions, Dr. Briscoe is especially interested in the UMKC Venezuela Outreach Program.

When Dr. Briscoe is taking time for himself, he enjoys activities such as biking, golfing and basketball. He also enjoys spending time with his family.

The team at Dr. Briscoe's dental office is friendly, personable and caring. They make the extra effort to make sure everyone is treated properly. They also try to treat patients the way they would want to be treated.

Dr. Paul Rosel

Dr. Paul Rosel is a life-long resident of Kansas by way of Liberal and Topeka. He completed his undergraduate degree from the University of Kansas in 2002 and his doctorate at the UMKC School of Dentistry in 2007. Dr. Rosel is especially excited about joining Dr. Briscoe's team and is very dedicated to the dental profession. He truly enjoys dentistry and feels that he is blessed because every day he has the opportunity to bring out an individual's inner beauty through their smile.

Dr. Rosel's wife, Kim is a Kansas University graduate and a Lawrence native. Dr. Rosel enjoys spending time with family, golf and basketball. Dr. Rosel and Kimberly are excited to now call Hutchinson home. The people they have met have been generous and welcoming and they both look forward to making many more new friends.

Suzanne: Appointment Coordinator

My name is Suzanne, and I have worked in the dental field for 24 years, and for Dr. Briscoe the last 14 years. I am a jack-of-all-trades when it comes to the office because I was an assistant for the first 10 years, and now I have been the Appointment Coordinator for the last 4 years. I am committed to finding the most convenient time for each patient and each procedure. I realize the great importance of keeping your regular check ups in order to maintain good dental health.

I am married to Jeff and have three children and 7 grandchildren. Everything you hear about being a grandparent is true. It is wonderful.

Teresa: Financial Coordinator

My name is Teresa and I have worked in the dental field for 6 years. I have been a member of the Briscoe dental team and working as the financial coordinator since April of 2007. I enjoy working in the dental field and meeting new people.

I have been married for 20 years to Scott. He works at Agri-Center in South Hutchinson. We have 3 children, Andrew, Andria and Alexandria. Andrew attends Southeast College in Millford, Nebraska and the girls attend Hutchinson High School.

Betty: Dental Assistant

Hi! My name is Betty, and my goal is to make all your dental visits pleasant. I’ve been working in the dental profession since 1974, and I’ve been with Dr. Briscoe for 18 short years. I enjoy welcoming new patients into the practice but I love seeing the familiar faces come through the door, too.

My husband, Richard, and I have been married 26 years, and are the proud parents of 2 children: Nathan and Jill. I enjoy walking, cooking, art, sports and spoiling the grandchildren.

Amanda: Dental Assistant

Hello, my name is Amanda Wise and I am the newest addition to Dr. Briscoe’s staff. Although I am new to this office, I have had previous experience in the dental field.
I graduated from Trinity High School, Hutchinson, and I am currently working towards my college degree.
Outside of work, I enjoy cooking, yard work, watching football, sewing, and volleyball. I also spend time with my boyfriend of 6 years and my four siblings. Another part of my family is Hennesey, my golden retriever.
I enjoy working with people and helping them with their dental needs.

Debbie: Dental Hygienist

Hi, my name is Debbie, and I have been a Hygienist for 29 years. I spent the first 24 years working in a Perio practice, and have been with Dr. Briscoe for 4 ½. I graduated in 1975 from WSU. I appreciate the great teamwork we have in our office. The entire team helps each other and works together to give the patients the best possible care.

I have been married to Lary for 28 years. We have 3 children: Ryan, Nathan and Kimberly. Our oldest, Ryan, graduated from Kansas State this spring. In my free time, I enjoy quilting, scrap booking, reading and traveling.

Alicia: Dental Hygienist

Hi, I’m Alicia. I graduated from Wichita State University in 2001, and I’ve worked as a Hygienist for Dr. Briscoe for two and a half years. As I was growing up, I was a patient of Dr Briscoe’s and I loved going to my dental appointments, so it seemed natural for me to go into the field of dental hygiene. I love helping patients achieve and sustain healthy, gorgeous smiles they can be proud of.

I enjoy gardening in my spare time. I don’t seem to have too much of that with a one-year-old daughter and another child due in the fall. My husband and I are excited about adding a son to our family.

Ginger Scripsick: Dental Hygienist

My name is Ginger. I have been in the dental field for three years, and have worked for Dr. Briscoe for 1 year. I really enjoy the profession of Dental Hygiene because of the opportunity to work with people.

My husband and I live in Hutchinson, and have been married one year. We are settling into our first house and learning what its like to be home owners. Usually, my spare time is spent reading or going on walks.

Holly Spellman: Dental Hygienist

Hi, I am Holly and I am the newest member of Dr. Briscoe's dental team. I have been a lifelong patient of Dr. Briscoe's and I am excited to now be working as one of his hygienists. One of my main goals as a hygienist is to help patients not only improve their oral health, but to realize that their oral health has a direct correlation to their overall health.

I have been married to my husband, Dusty, for eight years and do not yet have children. My husband and I are involved in our church and we compete in rodeos in our spare time.

Heidi

Hi, my name is Heidi and I am one of the newest members to the Dr. Briscoe's team. I graduated from Buhler High School in 2002 and then I attended Hutchinson Community College and graduated with an associate's degree in arts.

I am so excited to be working here because I enjoy working with people and making them smile. My goal is to make everyone feel comfortable and part of our family!
